Health Care is a growing industry...right now 1 in 10 jobs is in health care!

An unprecedented shortage of health care workers - specialty and experienced RNs, LPNs, nursing assistants, paraprofessionals, technicians and technologists - has become a crisis throughout Upstate New York...and that means there are lots of jobs!

More than five million people will be needed to fill health care jobs in the United States in the next eight years.

There are 78 million Baby Boomers in the United States. They are not getting any younger, and that means they will be retiring and also need health care...and that means there are lots of jobs!

  • The 45-54 year old population has grown by almost 50%.
  • Within the next 20 years, the 65 and older population will increase by 29%.
